Welcome to Tru Blu Travel postcards – we’re Kim and Stephen, oh, and Missy our cat.
For those that know us thanks for following along here and for those that are new let me share some stuff to catch you up.
Stephen and I met back in 2006 and got married in a hot air ballon in 2009. Together we have co-parented three girls and when they were old enough we left home, literally. You can find out more about that here.
We returned to Perth in 2017 and departed again in 2019 to live full time on a sailboat in the mediterranean for five years. If you want to know more about that, click here.
Along the way we adopted a cat – Missy – in Montenegro. When it was time to come home, we needed to be in an Australian-approved country for 6-months before she could be imported. So, we purchased a motorhome in the Netherlands and explored the countryside. We also drove from one end of the UK to the other visiting as many castle sites as we could along the way.
We arrived back in Australia in November 2025 and resisted the pull to settle. Instead we bought and 4wd and caravan and here we are, wandering!
