Welcome aboard our beloved boat, MIMPI!

Mimpi is a Moody 38-foot (11.42m) sailboat with a centre cockpit.

Our boat has a beam of 3.86 metres, a shoal keel and a draft of 1.37 metres.

She is a CE category A – ocean yacht. This means Mimpi is designed for large sea voyages, which is one of the reasons we chose her.

Mimpi has a v-berth, forward head (starboard), saloon, navigation table, gallery, aft head (port) and main cabin.

Plus, since we bought the boat in 2019 we have upgraded the solar panel and battery storage systems. This means we could be off grid, away from a marina for weeks.

What does the name of our boat mean?

We chose the name MIMPI because in Malay it means ‘dream’ or ‘to dream’. We think it’s a pretty apt name for our sailing  adventures.
