Sailing Mimpi
Back in 2016 we travelled around parts of Europe and found we kept gravitating to the coast. In a flash of the blinding obvious we thought ‘We should buy a boat!’
So the journey to buy a sailboat began to take shape. In 2018 we searched and looked and researched for the right sailboat for us. We looked at sailboats in Perth, Western Australia and Adelaide, South Australia. There was one that came close in Sydney, New South Wales but we missed the boat you could say. Our search continued overseas in the UK, Portugal and Greece. In October 2019 we travelled to Preveza, Greece and found THE boat for us.

Our sailing travels
The sailing Mimpi travels started in October 2019 in a quaint Greek town called Preveza. This is where we found our sailboat. After a formal inspection and survey, we purchased our floating home and allowed ourselves to fall in love.
Below are stories and lessons we have experienced along the way. Some good, some bad, some ugly. But that’s life really! Perhaps by sharing in this way others will learn from us and enjoy with us.
