Since arriving back in Perth in November 2024 we have lived with family and friends and caught up on all the things we missed while aboard our sailing boat, Mimpi. We resisted the pull to ‘settle’ and instead bought a 4wd and caravan in March 2025.
Between then and now we have been renovating and adding all the things we will need for our next adventure… exploring Western Australia and beyond.
We have been very busy🐝 From ripping out existing furniture, adding reinforcing, new carpet and building a new queen size bed.
While working heaps Stephen has also designed & fitted our new electrical system. Ask him about it and watch his face light up.🤩 If you want to know more let us know and I’ll add it to my postcard list.

Queen 🐝 me has been upskilling and putting those skills to good use renovating parts of the caravan and sticking seven, yep seven 48-volt solar panels to the caravan. Yep, that’s another postcard on my list.
So, we are proud to Introduce TRU – our Jayco Sterling caravan – and BLU – our Toyota Landcruiser.

Tru came with two single beds – not for long!
I took a trip to Bunnings by myself – a first – and bought all this wood to make the bed.
